The curriculum follows the American Common Core Curriculum (Engage New York) and complies with all statutory requirements under AiAA accreditation. The school day consists of seven 50-minute periods supported by enrichment programmes, educational visits and extracurricular activities.

The curriculum is carefully planned to build upon students' previous learning and ensure continuous academic progress.

Extra-Curricular Activities

After-school clubs are conducted every Monday and Tuesday from 2:10 PM to 2:50 PM. Participation is open to all students and there is no additional fee.

Assessment & Examinations

Assessment methods vary according to students' age, ability and learning needs. Students also participate in internationally recognised benchmark assessments.

College & Career Readiness

Grade 12 students prepare for higher education by completing SAT and EMSAT examinations.

Students also participate in university guidance programmes including the UAE University Fair and career readiness activities that help them choose universities within and outside the UAE.

The curriculum develops the knowledge, skills and understanding required for higher education and future careers.

Graduation Requirements

  • ✓Students receive a High School Diploma upon successful completion of Grade 12.
  • ✓A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 based on 18 credit hours is required.
  • ✓Credit hours include classroom learning, homework, projects and extracurricular participation.
  • ✓Students must complete all required credits to qualify for graduation.
  • ✓Regular attendance and completion of coursework are essential.
  • ✓Final reports for Grades 10, 11 and 12 must be attested and submitted to the UAE Ministry of Education for equivalency when applying to UAE universities.
